Yoga aims to improve the physical and mental health of practitioners, through self-observation techniques. Students will have the opportunity to experience concepts such as stability, comfort and relaxation of effort through the traditional approach of Hatha Yoga, which includes the practice of asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), relaxation and meditation.

Prof. Fernando Meyer

He is a Yoga instructor, meditation facilitator, lecturer and teacher (university extension course). Graduated in Yoga from IEPY (Institute of Teaching and Research in Yoga, coordinated by Prof. Marcos Rojo) with international certification by the Kaivalyadhama School (India). He has a Postgraduate degree in Yoga from the same institution.  Nowadays, he is doing the Postgraduate course in Kinesiology, Biomechanics and physical Training at Centro Universitário São Camilo. (Brazil)

He was a participant in the mindfulness-based stress reduction program given by the Centro Paulista de Mindfulness and he is training in Working Mind: Mindfulness in Working Life by Kapala Academy. He has initiation in Saktipat meditation techiniques.

He is a volunteer Yoga teacher at the Awakening Integrative Practices Clinic - Hospital São Paulo / UNIFESP. He is a volunteer meditation and yoga instructor at the Getúlio Vargas University Hospital (Amazonas). He participates as a volunteer in the Yoga no Leito program, offered by the Instituto de Infectologia Emílio Ribas. He was professor of the university extension course "Introduction to Yoga philosophy, science and practice" offered by Centro Universitário São Camilo / SP. He is a member of CABSIN (Brazilian Academic Consortium for Integrative Health).

He attended several workshops from Kaivalyadhama Institute (India) such as:  Kriya Yoga and Meditation, Yoga Meditation Practices, Raja Yoga Techniques and Pranayama.

He is bachelor in Social Comunication, with a Postgraduate degree in Marketing Management in Services and MBA in Business Communication, with over 10 years of experience in corporate communication and marketing, focusing  in health and education area.
